About the Academic Track

The Bachelor’s in International Economic Relations works to provide the community with graduates specialized in the field, who possess scientific economic knowledge that enables them to understand and address economic problems, whether at the micro or macro level within the same economy, as well as the problems that arise as a result of international interactions between traditional international actors (states) and actors New recruits are multinational companies and international organizations, and the department is constantly keen on diversifying its human cadres so that it is reflected in its outputs.
There is increasing interest in studying international economic relations as a specialization concerned with studying all economic transactions between countries of the world, trade relations between countries, exchange rate developments and economic competitiveness. And seek to clarify the patterns and consequences of transactions and interactions between populations of different countries, including trade, investment and the movements of production factors in light of the interaction of the global economy with two distinct phenomena, namely the growth of economic globalization on the one hand and the growth of the regional phenomenon on the other hand. Therefore, it has become necessary to study and identify all the variables and institutions specific to the nature of international economic relations and to try to adopt policies and strategies to confront them at the macro and micro levels.
For this reason, the Faculty of Business and Administration at International Suleiman University awards a bachelor’s degree in international economic relations.” To train student researchers, qualify them and prepare them to manage and run public and private institutions, conclude international contracts, develop international trade relations, and supervise study offices and local administrations related to foreign trade and foreign banking operations…..and other institutions that have become more open to the global economic environment. It faces deep challenges to adapt to its threats and risks through a modern management based on scientific foundations that responds to the requirements of international markets and is able to raise the competitiveness of the institution.

Study Duration

The duration of study to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration for all disciplines is four academic years for those accepted on the basis of the secondary certificate, and two years for those accepted into the promotion program according to the institute. and competence.
The duration of the default study is four years, but it is possible to take full-time and intensive studies so that the student can graduate in three years.
The academic year is divided into three semesters, and the University Council determines the start and end dates of the study and the dates of exams according to the university calendar.

Conditions for success and graduation

1 . Each course is given a mark out of 100.
2 . The student is considered to have passed the course if he obtains a final result greater or equal to 55% of the course’s top grade.
3 . In the event that a student succeeds in a course and obtains a full mark, the university has the right to check the student’s level through an oral interview or a written exam, and confirm his success in the course or declare his failure in it, if it is not at the required level.
4 . If the student fails the course, he must repeat it with his exams, and repay the full costs.
Graduation average:
The averages of the courses in which the student passed for the five years are summed and divided by the total number of courses, and the overall average is extracted.
