  • Work Establish study programs in new specializations in the light of global and recent developments and the need of the labor market.
  • Study advanced education patterns such as distance education, e-learning, and open education, and make suggestions regarding their application in the appropriate majors for the university.
  • Follow-up of modern programs available for free on the Internet and provide them to those in charge of teaching in different disciplines and train them to use and benefit from them.
  • Studying the teaching methods applied in the various units of the university, evaluating them, expressing an opinion on them, and proposing to develop them in a way that allows refining the student’s personality, developing his mental abilities, and encouraging him to innovative critical thinking, and following up on this development after its approval by the competent authorities.
  • Propose the completion of the necessary equipment to develop teaching methods and introduce modern techniques that are suitable for different academic disciplines
  • Studying and updating exam methods in different colleges and expressing an opinion on developing them to achieve the desired goals
  • Submit proposals for the development of university libraries, provide databases and sources of information, especially electronic ones, and make them available in university libraries
  • Suggesting standards, objectives, and general specifications for the university textbook to match its desired goals.

The center works to develop and develop a plan to develop the educational curricula currently applied at the university, after its approval by the competent authorities, in light of modern global trends and the need of the labor market, while benefiting from global experiences and expertise through distinguished international accreditation bodies in this regard and supervising the implementation of this plan in cooperation with university faculties.

Implementation and Follow-Up

  • Conducting preliminary studies for all programs and curricula to be developed or introduced.
  • Cooperate with the interactive ISU community to ensure that all required teaching aids are available for all courses before the start of the study.
  • Preparing the technical report on the curricula and programs that will be created or developed for presentation to the higher committees.
  • Following up the implementation of the curricula and programs that are developed after being approved by the Executive Committee and the University Board of Directors.
  • Ensure that the opinions of each of the teaching and training staff members and students about the quality and appropriateness of the courses are obtained on an ongoing basis in cooperation with the competent authorities.
