Emile Badi Yaacoub (November 27, 1950) is a researcher in Arabic language sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Arabic Studies at Suleiman International University, and a contemporary researcher with many explanations and comments on many of the most important books in the Arabic language, such as the explanation of Shudhur al-Dhahab by Ibn Hisham al-Ansari, where he introduced the book and provided its margins and indexes. In addition to the detailed dictionary of Arabic evidence, which is a useful and famous book, in addition to many books on Arabic calligraphy and many verified books.
His birth and education
He was born in Kfar Aqa, Koura District, North Lebanon Governorate, in 1950.[1] He joined the teaching staff at the Faculty of Arts at the Lebanese University. In 1990, he obtained another doctorate from the Lebanese University. He is currently a professor of linguistics at the Faculty of Arts in Tripoli and graduate studies in Beirut, and head of the Arabic Language Department at the Faculty of Arts at the Lebanese University (third branch).
His works
Emile Yaacoub has many publications in Arabic grammar and literature, and he has also published many verified books and written commentaries on many Arabic books as well. He has thirteen research papers evaluated by the Lebanese University academically, and he has verified seven poetry collections (Jamil Buthniya, Al-Shanfari, Imam Al-Shafi’i, Amr ibn Kulthum, Qais Lubna…) and dozens of other books.
