Prof. Dr. Vahdat Ozkocak
Born in Kırıkkale in 1983, Dr. Vahdat Ozkocak completed his primary and secondary education in Ankara. Ozkocak, who started his university education at Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, Department of Anthropology, completed his final year at Albert Ludwig University in Germany. The same university in Germany
Ozkocak, who continued his education for a while, started working as a research assistant at Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History and Geography, Department of Anthropology, Department of Physical Anthropology in 2012 and completed his graduate studies there.
He received the title of Associate Professor in 2020. Ozkocak, who registered for the promotion program at Suleyman International University in 2021 and received the title of Professor in July 2024, is the founding president of the Education Effort Association, the Faculty Association, the Faculty Union, and also serves on the advisory boards of various non-governmental organizations.
In addition to his studies in his field such as forensic anthropology, biological anthropology, identification, molecular anthropology, genetic anthropology, genetic and ethnic diversity, he also studies the Turkish higher education system in relation to his interdisciplinary academic studies, especially within the scope of EU projects and supported by other organizations, and his EU Presidency conducts detailed studies, including the preparation of legislative proposals. He has studies on academic attack in labor courts and works as an expert in this field. He has submitted dozens of justified bills in the field of higher education in which he specializes, many of which have become law. Married and the father of one child, Dr. Ozkocak is fluent in German and English.
